On 4 August 2025, NLB’s Mini Molly Bus visited MK@AG! Stationed at the Primary School, the mobile library welcomed our children onboard, where they had the opportunity to browse and explore a wide selection of books.

The visit to the Mini Molly Bus was truly an enjoyable and memorable experience, leaving the children excited and inspired to continue their reading journey.

To further immerse the children in Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage, they were also introduced to a variety of traditional local snacks during snack time. This included ladoo, ang ku kueh, and kek lapis—treats that represent the diverse cultures that make up our nation. The children thoroughly enjoyed trying the different snacks and engaging in the hands-on activities, making it a truly memorable and meaningful day for all.

This year’s Hari Raya celebration at MK@AG was filled with joy and cultural discovery! Our children came to school dressed in beautiful traditional Malay attire, such as the Baju Kurung, proudly embracing the spirit of the festive season. They had a wonderful time learning about the significance and traditions of Hari Raya through an engaging and informative presentation by our dedicated teachers.

To promote the spirit of giving on this special event, the children decorated Hari Raya cards with various art materials like paints. They worked together as a class to design these masterpieces!

One of the most heartwarming highlights of this year’s event was the incredible support from our parent volunteers. We are truly grateful for the time, effort, and love they poured into their beautiful dance performance. It was a joyful moment that lit up the celebration and brought so much delight to our children.

As part of our initiative to foster stronger relationships with K1 parents, the K1 teachers hosted a tea session that allowed the children to engage in a meaningful activity with their parents, while interacting with the teachers too.

On May 16th, we were delighted to welcome our K2 parents to K2 LIFE @ MK — a workshop-style event designed to support families in preparing for their children’s transition to Primary 1.

The morning began with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Anchor Green Primary School Principal, Mr. Wesley Cheong.

This was followed by an insightful introduction to the Primary 1 transition process, presented by MK@AG's Centre Head, Ms. Suffi.

Mrs. Ivy Chong, Covering Year Head (Lower Primary), also provided valuable insights into what to expect at the Primary 1 level, including an overview of key routines and practices in a primary school setting. All in all, the event was a meaningful and collaborative experience, made even more special by the active engagement of our parent community. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who joined us. Your presence and participation reflect your commitment to your children’s growth, and we look forward to continuing this journey together as they take their next big step into Primary 1.

At MK@AG, our young learners recently took part in a meaningful celebration of both World Water Day and Earth Day, engaging in a variety of hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of environmental responsibility.

To start, children were encouraged to bring their own water bottles from home. Throughout the day, they used the water they brought to wash their hands—such as after outdoor play or before snack time—highlighting the importance of conserving water in daily routines. This simple but effective activity helped students become more aware of how much water they use and how small changes can make a big difference.

The celebration ended with a surprise performance by a member of our PSG and our school principal. It was a memorable finale to our Teachers’ Day Celebration.

Our Children’s Day celebration at MK@AG took off with the exciting theme “Space Explorers.” The day began with a high-energy mass workout that got everyone moving and smiling before the main sports events and mini games began.

Our school marked the joyous festival of Deepavali with a vibrant celebration that brought together dance, art, games, and food, sparking curiosity and appreciation for Indian culture among our young learners.

Children began the day with an energetic Indian dance segment, moving to lively music while learning simple hand gestures and rhythms. Laughter and excitement filled the hall as friends, teachers, and families clapped along.
