Most children have interactions with their family doctors only when they fall sick. This time, the K2 children had their first-hand experience to interview a doctor, Dr Colin Low (Pancare Medical Clinc Hougang) face-to-face to find out how the different organs in their bodies function. They were excited, with some posing more than one question for the doctor.

Not only did the children learn about the functions of their body organs, but some brave ones also had the opportunity to practise interviewing someone.

Overall, it was an interesting experience for the K2 children!

The children also got hands-on experience making their bags to hold the mandarin oranges. Together with the cards they prepared beforehand, they then exchanged them with their friends!

During the sharing session, parents and children enjoyed some snacks while we discussed the feedback from our parents.

The session ended off with everyone creating their own sensory bottles to bring home. We all learnt a new way of calming ourselves down when we experience big feelings!

To celebrate their mid-year achievements and foster creativity, friendship, and teamwork, the children enjoyed a Rainbow Party theme with their teachers and friends. They wore brightly coloured accessories to add to the celebratory fun.

Children were engaged in various rainbow-themed activities including a colour scavenger hunt to find and gather all the rainbow-coloured items hidden in the classrooms.

Other activities the children participated in included enjoying a rainbow cake during snack time and conducting an experiment to create their own rainbows using paper towels and paints. They also watched True: Rainbow Rescue, which taught them valuable lessons on perseverance, innovation and appreciation!

As part of the Start Small Dream Big initiative by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), the children participated in our community project – Stamp Out Dengue! This project aims to teach children about preventing mosquito breeding while instilling a sense of responsibility toward the environment.

Families coming together for a joyful picnic and movie experience – Inside Out 2. With popcorns in hand, they enjoyed the movie!

It’s so nice to see parents and children connecting, sharing happy moments, and strengthening their family bonds.

A special activity where parent and child talked about their happy moments and created a 'happy orb,' that continues to be made into a core memory.

We hope that this children’s day celebration helped strengthen the bond between parent and child, fostering cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

We had our very own mini versions of Liang Po Po and Phua Chu Kang, bringing the house down with their hilarious antics and iconic catchphrase, 'Don’t pray pray ah!’

There was a lively Malay wedding performance too, complete with our bride and groom dressed in beautifully matching costumes, adding a touch of elegance and tradition to the celebration!

Our parent volunteer kindly inked the intricate henna design on our teacher’s hand for the children to observe the beautiful henna designs and learn the meaning behind the art.

The children went for a fun trip to Kiztopia for a Year-End Celebration with their families. This MK journey fostered family bonding and togetherness.

Aligned with their Hi-Light lessons on Precious Rainforests, K2 children embarked on a guided walking trail at Imbiah Trail, Sentosa, to learn and observe the diverse flora and fauna in a rainforest. During the walk, they spotted animals such as a hornbill, squirrels and various insects.

They also learnt about some of the trees they saw, such as the Nibong Palm that has black spikes on its trunk and the Tempinis tree, which gave the town its name, Tampines, due to its abundance in the area in the past.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their walking trail! Although they did not spot the native Oriental Magpie during the walk, their teachers shared information and the children engaged in a colouring activity of the bird to reflect their learning.
