Overview of Student Development Team (SDT)

The school’s Student Development Team (SDT) comprises the following officers:

Our key focus is to create a caring and enabling environment through Positive Education at AGPS.

Roles of the Student Development Team (SDT) in Schools

  1. Build a caring and enabling school where all students:

  • Feel a sense of belonging, are able to forge positive peer relationships and enjoy school

  • Are engaged, motivated and empowered to believe in themselves

  1. Create a conducive and psychologically safe environment to nurture learners who are resilient and exercise student agency.

  2. Curate and implement curricula (Total Curriculum) that promotes the well-being, learning (which includes 21CC development) of all students.

  3. Identify and provide **differentiated support and intervention for specific group(s) of students.

  4. Support the professional development of staff for their role in student well-being and 21CC development.
