Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) 2023
THE ANCHORLITE PLATFORM TO DEVELOP TALENTS AND PURSUE INTERESTS
CCA provides ANCHORLITES the platforms and opportunities to enhance their personal and interpersonal development as well as their social and civic development through experiential learning Participation in CCA emphasizes the inter-connectedness of the core values, social and emotional competencies and civic literacy, global awareness and cross-cultural skills that are crucial for character and citizenship development among ANCHORLITES.
Skills they learnt in the formal curriculum will be put into practice during CCA sessions. These experiences would enable students to move along both the perception and processing continuum, from feeling to thinking and watching to doing respectively.
Through PE, ANCHORLITES develop soft skills with real-life experiential learning to develop their character and values, cultivate positive attitudes, self-expression and strengthen their people skills. The activities in PE also help ANCHORLITES deepen their 21st century competencies through a combination of applied learning experiences and life-skills experiences.
